Biodiversity
Pfizer supports and undertakes projects that enhance the environment at site levels and in ecologically rich areas. We restore land, preserve wildlife and enrich environmental education.
Contributing to a Sustainable Tomorrow
The Alliance to Conserve the Maya Forest promotes biodiversity, sustainable growth and conservation in the second-largest tropical rainforest in the Americas. Pfizer is recognized internationally for supporting Alliance projects.
Contributions through the World Environment Center to The Nature Conservancy and Rainforest Alliance help preserve the Maya Forest while creating sustainable livelihoods in Belize, northern Guatemala and Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.
Partnering with Wildlife Habitat Council
Pfizer is a corporate member of the Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC), a nonprofit U.S. organization committed to wildlife habitat management and environmental education. The WHC helps develop and maintain wildlife areas on corporate properties. It also certifies sites that meet stringent requirements for habitat enhancement projects.
